Product Owner
Job Type Full-timeA Product Owner oversees the entire product development process and may work with a variety of teams like stakeholders, scrum masters, and product developers to ensure the final product meets specific requirements and preferences. They’ll also develop ideas for product features to include.
Responsibilities
- Setting goals and creating the team’s vision.
- Managing the Product Backlog.
- Clarifying the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities.
- Communicating the vision clearly to everyone involved in the project.
- Assessing the value, developing cases, and prioritizing stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value aligned with product strategy.
- Aligning the product’s vision with the scrum team, answering the team’s questions, and reviewing suggestions about adding, deleting, changing, or improving the user’s goal.
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
- Leading the product release planning and setting expectations of the new functionalities delivery.
- Other duties and responsibilities assigned by the delivery manager.
Qualifications
- Previous working experience as a Product Owner for 3+ years.
- BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Proficiency in English.
- In-depth knowledge of agile processes and principles.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Creative thinker with a vision.
- Attention to detail.
